The day of the clean up!
It is the heat of summer and it was a perfect time to clean your dirty dog! We were excited to be in Arlington at such a fun event. They had a great doggie ice cream and human ice cream. Presented by Sav-A-Mutt and hosted at the Bad Dog Distillery running 2pm to 6pm tonight. There were great pet theme vendors, Sav - A- Mutt put together gift baskets for sell, plus flash tattoos looked nice. Plus permanent Jewelry, and food from the foodtruck Bigredtruck2017 was very popular.
Sun is setting earlier!
Mid August sees the days grow shorter!
Not that everyone is unhappy with the sun not up till 9pm. For those who are, the big dark is still a way a ways. Sunrise is noticeably later as well. Soon the muggy nights will be done and cool September nights come in. October is when it starts really cooling down but we are weeks from that. It is a great time of year for grilling, camping, and anything outdoors. We have had decent summer weather this year and we are thankful for those fighting the many fires this season. A great thanks to all the firefighters all over the world. Fire season has been brutal all around the world this year with many setting historic highs. Seasons take big turns in the PNW and nowadays almost everywhere. Make sure you have your correct gear for this time of year, so you're not left in the dark.

Fish, on a stick!
Kids are seeing these from far away. Usually whatchamacallits bring them in, but since the fish appeared they have been popular. New colors will be coming out soon and we can do custom orders also. We are looking for new stuff to put on a stick since these have gone over so well. As we go towards fall we enjoy the berries. Make sure you stop by and see us as the farmers market and stock up.
Monroe Fair Days Parade & Market is coming up on the 29th. We look forward to being back in Monroe and hope to see a big turn out. We are getting more traffic leashes made soon and will have new colors soon.

Late summer is a great time for the smoker! It doesn't matter your smoking your latest catch, or doing up summer favorites. Great deals can be found on many cuts. We love smoking chicken wings, tri-tips, pork chops, and more. Brisket and pork belly can be an all day affair but great food can come from the smoker pretty quick. Prep things in advance and you can have awesome food in about an hour.
